Based on the Twin Turbo Furious and Epic X Chrono, these watches are directly inspired by the unique design and spirit of Bugatti supercars. This year, Jacob & Co. and Bugatti are launching new watches in the Twin Turbo Furious collection, as well as an entirely new collection - the Bugatti Chiron.
It started with an idea that Jacob & Co. conceived with Bugatti – how to recreate the visceral feel of the iconic Bugatti 16-cylinder engine in a timepiece. After nearly a full year of development, the Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon is the answer. Everything is designed to pay homage to the Chiron in the timepiece. The case is inspired by the Chiron's sleek lines and is designed to replicate Bugatti's movement, or "engine block," where the engine is placed beneath a massive sapphire crystal, on display for all to see. Here's where it gets interesting: Press the crown on the right side of the chronograph and the engine starts—the crankshaft turns and the pistons pump up and down, just like a real internal combustion engine. Two "turbochargers" on one side of the engine block (there are four in the actual Chiron engine) spin when the engine is running, adding to the visual impact. Incredibly beautiful to look at and extremely complex to realize (the movement is made up of 578 parts), the Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon achieves an unprecedented feat - seamlessly combining engine and swiss replica watches. Jacob & Co. has unveiled its new Gotham City luxury watch, the first product in a previously announced multi-year partnership with Warner Bros. Filled with Bruce Wayne detailing and high-quality materials, this 45.5mm timepiece is now in extremely limited numbers - only 72 remaining. By design, Gotham City is both a watch and a metaphor. Inspired by the latest iteration of DC's Batman franchise, Gotham City is dark, angular, sharp, edgy and muscular. The case is made of black DLC titanium. DLC is a technique that coats metal with a series of carbon atoms, mimicking a perfect cubic crystal structure, making diamonds extremely wear-resistant. As a result, the 45.5mm case is as scratch-resistant as it is light as a batwing. The caliber includes 382 components, the most notable of which is probably the Batbridge, but the most complicated is the tourbillon. Each of them rotates along three different axes. Each shaft drives a separate cage. The first outermost shaft makes a complete revolution in 24 seconds, the second in 48 seconds, and the third closest to the 3 Hz balance wheel in 180 seconds. With its powerful twin barrels, the JCFM10 caliber is capable of a 48-hour power reserve. The power remaining in the tank is shown on the power reserve indicator at 6 o'clock between the tourbillons.

The top of the movement is a beautiful green 288 faceted Jacob Cut tsavorite, and the frame holds 11 flowers set with kite-shaped colored sapphires that rotate clockwise around the dial every 10 minutes. The flying tourbillon and time display also rotate clockwise in 10-minute increments. The mother-of-pearl base is inlaid with iridescent sapphire flowers, which rotate counterclockwise every 10 minutes.
